This is usually one of my favorite times of the year: pilot panic, fast and furious renewal and cancellation news, actors flying off the handle on social media when they hear news via trades rather than agents or managers... but with the pandemic disrupting the traditional pilot cycle, including the cancellation of upfronts next week, what is to be expected? NO ONE KNOWS!
So while we await news on whether the networks are going to actually pick up any pilots (or just push them), and whether that will lead to good fortune for bubble shows that in other years would be canceled, here's where we stand with the season's renewals and cancellations.
