And alternative series America's Got Talent: The Champions, Ellen's Game of Games, Little Big Shots (with new host Melissa McCarthy replacing Steve Harvey), Making It, Who Do You Think You Are? and World of Dance also premiere outside of the fall season.
Ellen's Game of Games is expected to air Tuesdays at 8:00 in between seasons of The Voice, with AGT: The Champions filling two hours on Mondays during the same time. and Little Big Shots, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, and Good Girls are expected to comprise Sundays in the spring.
NBC has a lot of programming, and they emphasized that they will be actively scheduling all four seasons this coming year. That's all and well and good, but they aren't doing much to competitively schedule fall, with only one new drama (the utterly bland sounding legal procedural Bluff City Law) making the cut and lauded favorites Will & Grace and B-99 getting the shaft. None of the new dramas sound particularly promising (and Lincoln will likely make more than a few viewers think they're getting a period show about a US President), especially if Zoey becomes an adult Glee, though the comedies have excellent pedigrees behind them.
