Conviction - The brilliant daughter of a former president is blackmailed into taking a job as the head of Los Angeles’ newly created Conviction Integrity Unit, who examine cases where there’s credible suspicion that the wrong person might have been convicted of a crime.

Designated Survivor - A lower-level U.S. Cabinet member suddenly is appointed president after a catastrophic attack during the State of the Union kills everyone above him in the line of succession.

Notorious - A provocative look at the interplay of criminal law and the media, inspired by true-life stories of famed criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos and cable news producer Wendy Walker.

Still Star-Crossed - Picks up where William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet left off, charting the lives of the Montagues and Capulets in the wake of the young lovers’ tragic fate.

Time After Time - Based on the novel and movie, famed science fiction writer H.G. Wells is transported to modern-day Manhattan in pursuit of Jack the Ripper.

Comedy

Downward Dog - The story of a struggling millennial is told from the point of view of her lonely and philosophical dog.

Imaginary Mary - A fiercely independent career woma's life is turned upside-down when she meets the love of her life, a divorced father with three kids, and her slightly unhinged imaginary friend from childhood suddenly reappears.

Speechless - A family with a special needs child is good at dealing with challenges they face and excellent at creating new ones.

Untitled Sarah Dunn Project - A confident, unapologetic, plump wife and mother of three, raises her flawed family in the wealthy town of Westport, CT, filled with “perfect” mommies and their “perfect” offspring. (Formerly The Second Fattest Housewife in Westport)

Drama

Bull - Inspired by the early career of Dr. Phil McGraw as the founder of one of the most prolific trial consulting firms of all time.

Doubt - A smart, chic, successful defense lawyer at a boutique firm starts to fall for her charismatic client who may or may not be guilty of a brutal crime. 

MacGyver - A reimagining of the 1980s series following a 20-something MacGyver as he creates a clandestine organization where he uses his knack for solving problems in unconventional ways to help prevent disasters from happening.

Pure Genius - A young Silicon Valley tech titan enlists a veteran surgeon with a controversial past in starting a hospital with a cutting edge approach to medicine. (Formerly Bunker Hill)

Training Day - A crime thriller that begins 15 years after the events of the 2001 feature film about an idealistic young police officer who is appointed to an elite squad of the LAPD, where he is partnered with a seasoned, morally ambiguous detective.

Comedy

The Great Indoors - An adventure reporter must adapt to the times when he becomes the boss to a group of millennials in the digital department of the magazine.

Kevin Can Wait - A newly retired police officer discovers he faces tougher challenges at home with his wife and three kids than he ever did on the streets.

Man with a Plan - A contractor whose wife goes back to work starts spending more time with his kids and discovers they are maniacs. (Formerly I'm Not Your Friend)

The CW

Frequency - A reimagining of the 2000 film in which a female police detective in 2016 discovers she is able to speak via a ham radio with her estranged father (also a detective) who died in 1996.

No Tomorrow - A female procurement manager at an Amazon-like distribution center falls in love with a freewheeling man who lives life to the fullest because he believes the apocalypse is imminent.

Riverdale - Set in present day and based on Archie Comics, Archie, Betty, Veronica, and their friends explore the surrealism of small town life in Riverdale.

The CW also acquired Supergirl from CBS for its second season.

Drama

24: Legacy - A military hero returns to the U.S. and trouble follows him back — compelling him to ask CTU for help in saving his life, and stopping what potentially could be one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil.

A.P.B. - An enigmatic tech billionaire purchases a troubled police precinct in the wake of a loved one’s murder.

The Exorcist - Serialized psychological thriller following two very different men tackling one family’s case of horrifying demonic possession and confronting the face of true evil.

Lethal Weapon - Texas cop and former Navy SEAL Martin Riggs suffers the loss of his wife and baby and he moves to Los Angeles to start anew. There, he gets partnered with LAPD detective Roger Murtaugh who, having recently suffered a “minor” heart attack, must avoid any stress in his life.

Pitch - A young female pitcher defies the odds when she becomes the first woman to play in the major leagues.

Prison Break - A follow-up to the 2005 Fox series, which centered on a young man determined to prove his convicted brother’s innocence and save him from death row by hatching an elaborate plan to escape from prison.

Shots Fired - An expert investigator digs into a series of racially charged shootings in a small town in Tennessee, alongside a special prosecutor sent to the town by the Department of Justice.

Star - Three talented singers navigate the cutthroat music business on their way to success.

Comedy

Making History - Three friends find a way to travel through time and visit some of the greatest moments of the past as they try to resolve their personal problems, while history and pop culture comically collide. (Formerly In Time)

The Mick - A hard-living, foul-mouthed woman moves to affluent Greenwich, CT, to raise the spoiled kids of her wealthy sister who has fled the country to avoid a federal indictment.

Son of Zorn - Upon arriving home on Earth for the first time in 10 years, Zorn, a fully animated, legendary warrior, finds that reconnecting with his live-action son and ex-wife while suffering through a mundane office job and the banality of suburban life is harder than waging actual war in his distant, mystical homeland of Zephyria.

NBC

Drama

The Blacklist: Redemption - Spin-off focusing on Grey Matters, a covert mercenary organization that solves problems governments dare not touch.

Chicago Justice - The fourth installment of Dick Wolf’s Chicago franchise revolves around Chicago State’s Attorney’s team of prosecutors and investigators as they navigate heated city politics and controversy head-on while fearlessly pursuing justice.

Midnight, Texas - Based on a book series by Charlaine Harris, follows the residents of a remote Texas town full of vampires, witches, werewolves, and angels.

Taken - Modern-day prequel to the feature franchise depicting how a young Bryan Mills develops his particular skill set.

This Is Us - An ensemble, many of whom were born on the same day, find their lives intertwining in curious ways. (Formerly Thirty-Six)

Timeless - An unlikely trio travels through time to battle unknown criminals in order to protect history as we know it. (Formerly Time)

NBC also has Emerald City held over from this season.

Comedy

Good Place - A woman decides to turn over a new leaf by learning what it actually means to be "good" or "bad," and then trying to make up for her past behavior.

Great News - The relationship between an overly involved New Jersey mom and her daughter is challenged when they start working together a cable news network.

Marlon - An inappropriate but loving father commits to co-parenting with his polar opposite ex-wife.

Powerless - Set in the DC Comics universe telling stories about the reality of working life for a normal, powerless person in a world of superheroes and villains.

Trial & Error -  Documentary-style procedural about a young big-city lawyer and his oddball defense team during a high-profile murder trial in a small Southern town. (Formerly The Trail)
